INFORMATION ABOUT EACH TOURS & PLACES
After you are picked up from your accommodation, you will head to Trou aux Cerfs volcanic crater in Curepipe, Mauritius famous crater the huge natural volcanic crater, 85m deep and 200m wide, was formed millions of years ago. Here you will have a beautiful panoramic view of the crater and the town of Curepipe, and when the sky is clear it is possible to see all the way to Reunion Island.

GRAND BASSIN
Grand bassin also known as Ganga Talao. It is a tourist favourite, a place that oozes out a deep sense of spirituality, surrounded by forestation that gives a feeling of calmness and contentedness. Grand Bassin is considered as one of the most sacred and spiritual places of Hindus in Mauritius. You will find at its entrance Mangal Mahadev, the 33ft tall, giant Shiva Statue, standing with his trident. During the pious month of Maha Shivratree, piligrims from all over the island walk from their home to the lake, carrying “kanwars” (colorful and sometime awesomely creative masterpieces, built usually to resemble a temple).

BLACK RIVER GORGES
Black River Gorges National Park is a mostly endemic park abounding of endemic fauna and flora, many of which are treated as endangered species and are actively protected as part of a national conservation effort of the NPL from the Ministry of Agricultural & Fisheries.
To name a few: The Mauritius kestrel, Mauritius Parakeet, Pink Pigeon & Bulbul.

RHUMERIE DE CHAMAREL
Le Rhumerie de Chamarel is not just a distillery, it is a well-designed all-in-one discovery, tasting, shopping and culinary experience. Perched at 300m above the south-west coast of Mauritius, this structure has been built to blend harmoniously with its spectacular surroundings.
The Rhumerie de Chamarel, is one of the rare distilleries still in activity to cultivate its own sugarcane which are carefully selected for the rum production.

CHAMAREL WATERFALL
As part of the visit of Chamarel village, you will also have a great viewpoint of the gorgeous Chamarel waterfall. By many it is considered the most beautiful waterfall of Mauritius. The sight of this impressive waterfall against the scenic forest and mountains is truly breathtaking.

SEVEN COLORED EARTH GEOPARK
The 7 coloured earth (Terres des sept couleurs in French) intrigues many. Located in the Chamarel plain of Black River District in the southern-part of Mauritius, this small area of sand dunes attracts and fascinates everyone. The work of mother nature shows an astounding spectrum of colored sand dunes that have occurred due to the natural phenomenon of chemicals in the soil, with patterns having been carved by the rain overtime. This phenomenon can also be observed on a smaller scale, if one takes a handful of sands of different colors and mixed them, since they will eventually separate into a spectrum of layers.
